Skills programs combine NABARD-funded REDP/MEDP courses, DDU-GKY residential training and specialised industry courses.

Key Outcomes

  • Over 1,000 youth trained cumulatively (including 450 under DDU-GKY residential
    programs).
  • 78% placement rate for job-linked courses; example: broadband technician placements.
  • Entrepreneurship support through business planning, soft loans, and market linkages.

Women-focused Livelihoods

  • 700+ women trained in tailoring, maggam work, saree painting and jute bag making
  • Many started home-based units and SHGs; >75% report income generation post-training
