Health interventions focus on preventive and curative outreach. The Trust has conducted 35+ medical camps serving over 30,000 beneficiaries cumulatively.
MCBRM installed RO water purification plants in Guntur and Nagarkurnool districts. These units serve over 20,000 villagers and have been handed over to local communities for sustained operation and maintenance.
During the pandemic, the Trust delivered food kits, PPE, and awareness campaigns, targeting frontline workers, rag pickers, migrant labourers and low-income households
In Guntur and its suburbs, the distribution drive included masks, gloves, and staple food kits for Safai Sathis and migrant laborers. Notebooks were also provided to students to aid their continued education during the disruption. Frontline workers, such as police personnel and sanitation staff, received safety equipment and food kits to support their critical roles.
In addition to material support, the Trust organized awareness campaigns to educate the public about COVID-19 guidelines, risks, and preventive measures. These initiatives, carried out in collaboration with dedicated volunteers, aimed to illuminate communities on how to protect themselves and others during the pandemic. Through these multifaceted relief efforts, MCBRM Trust played a pivotal role in mitigating the pandemic’s effects and fostering resilience in affected communities.
