Kantheru Tailoring Program
Training program on Embroidery and Tailoring in association with NABARD
Introduction:
Muvva China Bapi reddy Memorial trust (MCBRMT) has successfully completed the Training program organized for the 30 rural women on Embroidery & Tailoring under Rural Entrepreneurship development Program (REDP) supported by National bank for agriculture & rural development. This program was conducted in Kantheru village of Tadikonda Mandal, Guntur district.
Details of the Training Program:
The training program was inaugurated by the Managing trustee of MCBRMT on 10th July, 2011. Totally 30 women & adolescent girls were trained in Tailoring & Embroidery.
The training period is for 2 Months. After completion of training, valedictory program was conducted on 10th September 2011. On this occasion the trained women have displayed their products. Government officials of that village has visited the program and appreciated the MCBRM trust.

All the guests have shared their views on the training program and advised all the trained women to develop themselves as an entrepreneur. They have requested MCBRM trust to conduct more training programs to women in various sectors in future.
Later trainees shared their experiences and their gratitude towards the trust and trainer Miss.Sunanada. This was followed by exhibiting the products which they have prepared during this training program to the guests. During the event MCBRM trust has given two scholarships to poor students.
