Completion of MEDP on Jute Bag Making
With the support of NABARD
Conducted by Muvva China Bapi Reddy Memorial Trust
Jute bag making training has been inaugurated by Muvva China Bapi Reddy Memorial Trust. With the generous support from NABARD under the scheme of MEDP, it was initiated on 08/03/2012 at Thulluru of Guntur District and successfully completed on 20/03/2012. Mr. Srinivas, MDO is the Chief Guest for the inaugural function on 8th March and Mr. Ravi Kumar, President, Sphoorthy Seva Samstha, for the closing ceremony of training program.
Outcome of the training program:-
- Women skills in Jute bag production have been improved and they are stressed about the income generation at family level.
- Focus has been given on environment friendly products
- Women are suggested to promote the consciousness to the public by marketing the jute products
Participants numbering to 30 have under gone the training on jute bag making at Thulluru.
Views of the participants and the beneficiaries towards the training
Good views have been expressed by the participants and the chief guests who have attended both inaugural and closing ceremony.
Mr. Srinivas, MDO: He gave his gratitude to MCBRM for initiating these type of training programs to the rural poor women. He advised all the women who have attended the program to learn well and make good use of the training. He told the women about the importance of jute products in the market and how women can generate good income from the jute products. He also stressed about the assistances of MCBRM trust, to the students, women and the sick. Mr. Srinivas has concluded his address note by telling that opportunity of jute bag making has knocked the doors of women of Tulluru, therefore they need to make best use of the prospect.
Mr. Ravi Kumar, President, Sphoorthy Seva Samstha: On 20th March 2012, at closing ceremony of jute bag making, Mr. Ravi Kumar gave pushup speech to the women. He appreciated the active participation of women in Jute bag making conducted by MCBRM trust at Thulluru. For any success needs a first step of initiation. As these women have initiated their first step to success, they surely will have a great victory in all of their future events. He thanked NABARD for giving the special importance and schemes for the welfare of women and for their uplift. He also spoke the gratitude filled words addressing the MCBRM trust and all their excellent services in Guntur.
Smt. Syamala Lakshmi Rani and Smt. Savitri: Both the trainers have expressed their heartfelt greetings to MCBRM trust. Lakshmi Rani has spoke that women have shown a great interest towards the training and if the same interest is continued it will give them a great profit in future. Smt. Sunanda said that she is thankful to NABARD for giving such type of trainings. She also spoke that MCBRM trust has motivated her life such a way that, now she could able to survive on her own. It is just the support from the trust which making her survival good on earth. She has become emotional and expressed her core feelings of gratitude.
Conclusion: Training program on Jute bag making has been successfully completed by 20/03/2012. Good response has been incurred from the public towards the training program on jute bag making.
